I think this [link] and this [link] would help you a lot.

You may also want to draw a couple of real foxes, you know, do a few sketches or even portraits of foxes, study their anatomy and skeleton to get an idea of their build before you try to simplify anything. For some reason these two foxes look seriously heavy towards the front and that's rather how boars or moose look ;)
